Corrections Policy
The Verify Voices values accuracy and encourages readers to bring potential factual errors to our attention.
When a credible correction request is received, we may review the published article, its original sources and any supporting evidence supplied by the person or organisation raising the issue.
If a material factual error is confirmed, the relevant information may be corrected, clarified or updated.
Where appropriate, significant corrections may include a note explaining that an article has been updated.
Minor spelling, grammatical, formatting or stylistic changes may be made without a separate correction notice when they do not materially alter the meaning of an article.
Correction requests should include the article URL, the information believed to be inaccurate and relevant supporting evidence.
Each request is reviewed individually. Submission of a request does not automatically require alteration or removal of published content.
